Reactions And Sharing Concerning Eddie Shack Passing
RIP Eddie Shack. I had the pleasure of seeing him in last year at a live-taping of the legendary Being Frank show and I’m positive 90% of it could never make it to air. He was a fantastic showman.

Eddie Shack was my neighbour & once after a winter storm I mentioned to him how much damage it did to the trees in my backyard. Next day it was all gone. I had no idea who did it until Ron Ellis told me Eddie brought a chainsaw over & did it himself. He was one of a kind. ?

Eddie Shack scored the Stanley Cup-winning goal in 1963. Also the first NHL player to score 20 or more goals in a season for five different teams. A legend on and off the ice. RIP, Eddie. ?

I realize Mr. Eddie Shack spent the majority of his professional hockey career withe the Leafs, but he was clearly sought after for his tactics as an irritant and toughness on the ice. Eddie invented the role and made no apologies. He was a legendary hockey name! RIP Eddie Shack! pic.twitter.com/oAc2goIS9J

RIP Eddie Shack. I met him at a golf tournament in 1995 and am still blown away with how down to earth he was. I told him The Leafs were my least favourite team, and he offered to punch me if I paid him $5 ?. Made everyone around him smile; a rare gift.

The Entertainer, Eddie Shack, was everything Leafs fans wanted in a hockey player
He was definitely a fan favourite. And that long ago shuttered golf course still has one of “my” clubs at the bottom of one of its ponds. Haha. RIP— robert smale (@robertsmale) July 27, 2020
Remembering #EddieShack today by leafing through the book he put out last year. Includes some great stories from #sudbury, including lying his way to a drivers license at 13 and losing it after a hwy17 joy ride… and getting into fights with miners during a summer job at Inco pic.twitter.com/ujdWDpH7LH
