David Vasquez Death – The officials have release the identity of the man who was struck to death by a car on Saturday morning while working construction along Interstate 65 near Indianapolis as 23-year-old David Vasquez Jr., of Terre Haute.
Shortly after midnight, officers arrived at the scene in response to reports of a man lying on the road unconscious after a multiple vehicle crash near the 111.6 mile marker of I-65.

According to the police, bystanders performed CPR on Vasquez Jr., who was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The Indiana State Police reports that the driver of the car, a 24-year-old Cheyenne Prass, of Indianapolis, failed to drive into the left lane and instead swerved to the right, hitting Vasquez in the construction zone.
Prass then spun into the left lane where she collided with a construction truck and semi.
She was arrested and is facing charges for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated causing death.
No other injuries were reported.
