Eric Jordan Death – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has confirmed and release the identity of the man that drowned in east Tennessee lake on Friday evening, July 24, while trying to save a dog, as 52-year-old Eric Jordan, of North Carolina.

Reports says Jordan was traveling on a boat on Watauga Lake on Friday evening when a dog jumped into the water. He jumped into the water to rescue the dog, but began to have trouble in the water, says the agency.

He was later pulled out by a bystander on a nearby houseboat. CPR was performed on him but he couldn’t be revived.

His body was taken to Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City for an autopsy.
