Wilma Jean Petty Death | Wilma Jean Petty Obituary – On Saturday night, 25th of July 2020, Wilma Jean Petty was shot and killed in north Charlotte. According to news release, Police responded to the 300 block of West 28th Street just after 10:30 p.m. and found the woman, later identified as Petty, with an apparent gunshot wound. Medic said she was found dead on arrival.
Police haven’t said what led to the shooting or if there have been any arrests made. No other information was provided. Police said this is an ongoing investigation.
