Thomas McCarthy Death | Obituary – Thomas McCarthy age 55 was shot and killed , Thomas who was visiting his elderly mum was killed in the hallway by a gunman believed to have been wearing a face mask as a disguise.
Thomas McCarthy was shot up to eight times when he answered a knock at the door of his mum’s Cherry Orchard home in west Dublin on Monday.
He tried to escape through the hallway but the gunman followed and shot him again.
The killer then fled the scene in a blue Ford Fiesta, which he abandoned and torched a few minutes later on Le Fanu Drive.
We are never ready to say goodbye forever even though we know it is a part of life. This day our hearts are heavy for losing someone so special, but as we mourn your death, we also celebrate your life. Rest in peace.
