Omar Terry Death – The identity of the man who died in a shooting and stabbing incident on Friday morning, July 24, has been identified by the Johnson City Police as 27-year-old Omar Terry, a Johnson City resident.

The official reports states that Terry was found in the backseat of a car that had driven off of the Exit 70 off ramp on Route 17.

According to evidence, Terry had sustained several gunshot and stab wounds from within the vehicle prior to the vehicle crashing.

A preliminary investigation reports that one of the passengers, 25-year-old Brandon Rose of Endicott was charged with murder and criminal possession of a firearm.

A third person said to be in the vehicle, has been considered a witness and has been compliant with the investigation.

Investigation is still ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
