Keontez Stephens Death – The identity of the male victim who was shot and killed in a fatal shooting in northwest Charlotte that occurred on Tuesday evening, July 28 has been identified by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police as 22-year-old Keontez Stephens.
Around 6.30 p.m. on Tuesday, the police responded to a 911 call on assault with deadly weapon in the neighborhood on Westwinds Court, off of Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road.

Upon their arrival, they found Stephens in the street with a gunshot wound, says police.
Stephens was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead, says the MEDIC.
The investigation is still ongoing.
