Concerned individual are mourning the death of Miguel Villalon who was killed in Afghanistan by a roadside bomb, Saturday, January 11, 2020.
Villalon was one of two U.S. member who died when their vehicle struck an improvised explosive device, according to Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin.
Miguel Villalon died at the age of 21. He was a graduate from East Aurora High School. His death was yet to be confirmed by the Pentagon as at Saturday night.
The Taliban immediately took responsibility for the attack. Qari Yusouf Ahmadi, a Taliban spokesman, said it occurred in the southern Kandahar province.
