Jeff Joseph Koltys, Jr. Death – Accomack County Sheriff’s Office have released the identity of a man who drowned on Tuesday evening near a small island at the mouth of Pungoteague Creek as 35-year-old Jeff Joseph Koltys, Jr., from Onancock, Virginia
According to Sheriff Todd Wessells report, at approximately 8:08 p.m. on July 28, 2020 the authorities received a report of a body found floating off of Scarborough’s Island near Harborton, Virginia.

Along with the Virginia Marine Resources Commission and the deputies response to the scene they recovered Koltys body.
Koltys was transported to the Norfolk Medical Examiner’s Office where his cause of death was confirmed to be accidental drowning.
