Central Las Vegas Death – The police have confirmed the demise of a woman who was involved in a hit-and-run accident on Thursday morning in central Las Vegas. She is believed to be aged 43.

The sad incident happened around 4.20 a.m at North Decatur and Carmen boulevards, near West Washington Avenue, says the Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Joe Lepore.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2004 Hyundai Elantra was crossing the southbound lanes of Decatur when a silver 2006 Toyota 4-Runner crashed into the side of the Hyundai.

The 43-year-old woman who was the Hyundai’s driver died at the scene.

The driver of the Toyota car left the scene before the arrival of the police.

However, a 23-year-old passenger from the Toyota car was in the scene. He was taken to University Medical Center with minor injuries and was cooperating with police.
Investigation is ongoing and the police have asked the help of the public in locating the driver of the Toyota vehicle.
