William English Death | William English Obituary – William English one of the computing pioneers who “showed what a computer interface could — and should — look like,” has been reported dead. William Kirk English was an American computer engineer who contributed to the development of the computer mouse while working for Douglas Engelbart at SRI International’s Augmentation Research Center.
He helped build the computer mouse. William English later worked for Xerox PARC and Sun Microsystems. English was born on January 27, 1929 in Lexington, Kentucky and died on the 26th of July 2020 at the age of 91. We extend our condolences.
