Nicole Grothe Death | Nicole Grothe Obituary – In reference to a tweet made on the 5th of August 2020 by Stars and Stripes (@starsandstripes), Nicole Grothe has died. Nicole Grothe was a warrant officer assigned to Fort Riley, Kan., she was found dead along a hiking trail miles outside of the Army base, base officials said.
The body of Warrant Officer Nicole Grothe, 38, was found on the 22nd of July 2020 at the Konza Prairie Nature Trail and she was identified on Friday, 31st of July 2020 through an autopsy and dental analysis as the missing soldier, according to a news release from the Riley County Police Department. Grothe was initially reported missing on the 21st of July 2020. Reports says that Army Criminal Investigation Command is continuing to investigate her death, though foul play is not suspected. A final autopsy report is pending according to Stars and Stripes.
