Marco Barranco who was from Montebello was one of the U.S. Marine who died in a training accident on Thursday, 30th of July 2020. He was an outgoing person and a man of many interests. 21 years old Barranco was one of 8 men now presumed dead after their amphibious assault vehicle sunk in deep water off San Clemente Island. A candlelight vigil is scheduled for Barranco also known as Andy, from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday at his home, 320 N. Second St., Montebello.
