Lance Cpl. Marco Barranco Death | Lance Cpl. Marco Barranco Obituary – Lance Cpl. Marco Barranco who was from Montebello was one of the U.S. Marine who died in a training accident on Thursday, 30th of July 2020. He was an outgoing person and a man of many interests. He was a boxer in high school and into shuffling, a rave dance that developed in the 1980s, when he was younger, friends of his said.

21 years old Barranco was one of 8 men now presumed dead after their amphibious assault vehicle sunk in deep water off San Clemente Island. A candlelight vigil is scheduled for Barranco also known as Andy, from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday at his home, 320 N. Second St., Montebello. Emily Pasillas, who attended La Merced Intermediate with him but now lives in Riverside, said Barranco was good at whatever he did. We extend our condolences.
