Rachel Gorman Death

Rachel Gorman Death | Obituary – A morning accident that occurred on south of the interstate’s State Route 500 has claimed the life of a 44-year-old Vancouver woman identified as Rachel Gorman.

Gorman passed away on Wednesday, August 5th, after being involved in a multiple vehicle accident.

According to report, Gorman’s vehicle was struck by a semi-truck at about 7 a.m. The semi-truck was reportedly driven by Rodney Pryce of Strathmore, Alberta.

Washington State Patrol said Pryce was trying to make a lane change into the exit lanes toward Mill Plain Boulevard when he was distracted by a vehicle passing on his right and didn’t notice traffic ahead of him coming to an abrupt stop.

Pryce ran into the rear of Gorman’s vehicle, pushing her under the truck in front of her, troopers said.

Gorman died at the scene. The driver of the vehicle in front of Gorman’s was uninjured.
