Lavern Edwards death & obituary: A teen boy was shot and killed in the morning of Tuesday, 21st January, 2020.
18-year-old Lavern Edwards of Hermitage community was ambushed and shot several times at Hermitage Road in August Town, St Andrew, according to police.
According to police, at about 10:00 a.m, Edwards was at a location in Hermitage community when he was attacked by armed men who shot him nine times before leaving the scene.
Police responded to a call of shooting at the said address, and upon arrival, they found Edwards suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Lavern died at the scene of the attack.
