Dr. Dakota Woodard, death & obituary: A young adult was shot dead before 12:20 p.m of Friday 17th, January, 2020.
Sheriff Jon Lopey one of the Siskiyou County detectives said Dr. Dakota Woodard, was discovered by a relative on 4600 block of East Valley in the Dorris area.
“It’s a very tragic incident,” Lopey said. “It really hit a lot of people by surprise.”
Siskiyou County detectives are putting together evidence on the gunshot death of the local veteran. The incident was said to have occurred at a ranch where Woodward helped out.
