Jefferson County Death – The police have confirmed the death of one man after the fatal shooting in Jefferson County on Sunday morning, August 9.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be released.

This sad incident took place around 2. a.m in the 300 block of Utica Place in Mulga, says the police.
According to Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the scene after the report of a shooting in the area. Upon their arrival, they found a 25-year-old man suffering from several gun shot injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased and 19-year-old Cameron De’Shawn Moore got into an altercation that erupted to shooting. Moore shot the victim and fled the scene, Money said.
Moore was later arrested and charged with murder. He is currently in Jefferson County Jail on $75,000 bond.
