Lester Cook, III Death – The identity of the man who drowned to death on Lake Wylie shortly before noon on Friday, August 7, has been confirmed and released by the authorities as 40-year-old Lester Cook, III.
According to official report, emergency crews found the body of Cook and are searching for a second drowning victim on the lake although the drownings are not related.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Cook drowned after falling off the pier he was working on.
Cook went under water and never resurfaced.
This prompted the search and rescue team to be launched.
