Curtis McKinlay Death – The body of the man who drowned in the Bow River near Highway 24 and Wydham Park in Carseland, Alta., on Sunday, August 9 has been found and identity released by the authorities as 30-year-old Curtis McKinlay of Calgary.
McKinlay was located by the Strathmore RCMP and fire services on Monday, August 10.

The confirmation of his identity was made by his family members on the scene of investigation to Global News on Monday, August 10.
According to Strathmore RCMP, around 9.25 p.m on Sunday, they responded to the report of a man who went missing while swimming in the river.
Initial investigation revealed that McKinlay jumped into the river to swim but never resurfaced.
The search for him was called off on Sunday night due to poor illumination and the search resumed on Monday morning, says the police.
McKinlay body was found on Monday afternoon by the RCMP and a search and rescue team.
