Abdol-Hossein Majdami death & obituary : A mid-ranking Revolutionary Guard officer has been killed on the early hours of Wednesday January 22nd 2020.
Majdami was posted to his line of duty in the oil-rich province of Khuzestan in the Darkhoein in the township of Shadegan, between the provincial capital Ahvaz and the oil-refining city of Abadan, where he was shot dead. He was the commander of local Basij militia, the para-military wing of the Revolutionary Guard.
Its been stated by published reports that Majdami was killed at his home by masked assailants who fired shots at him and fled., although no official statement has been made regarding the occurrence.
