Carlos Rodriguez Death | Carlos Rodriguez Obituary – Carlos Rodriguez, 74, an elderly man was killed after a traffic collision along Ramona Expressway on Saturday, 8th of August 2020. The Riverside County Coroner’s Office said Carlos Rodriguez, a resident of Perris, died after the fiery accident on the 8th of August 2020. News release by the sheriff’s department indicated that the incident began when a black Kia Spectra was traveling west on Ramona Expressway and also, a Ford Expedition was going eastbound. For an undetermined reason, the Kia crossed over the double-yellow line and then slammed head-on into the Ford.
The driver of the Spectra ended up pinned inside the car which subsequently caught fire. Deputies added that the Expedition stopped in the middle of the road upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics confirmed the trapped motorist in the burning vehicle dead at the scene. Officials reported the wreck at around 5:41 a.m., just east of Bridge Street.
According to JAG, Paramedics later found a male victim who also succumbed to his injuries at the crash site. One of the deceased parties have been named as Rodriguez. Meanwhile, officers closed Ramona from Warren Road to Bridge for more than 4 hours following the collision. The cause of the tragic accident remains under investigation.
