Joseph Quade Death – The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Deputies have confirmed the death of a man who died after a fatal crash on Wednesday morning, August 12 at Piney Point Road and Take It Easy Ranch Road in Callaway.
The victim has been identified as 73-year old Joseph Quade of Callaway.

At 6.02 a.m on Wednesday, the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a report of a motor accident at the Piney Point Road and Take It Easy Ranch Road in Callaway.
Initial report stated that a Chevrolet S10 pickup truck, driven by Joseph tried to turn left from Piney Point Road onto Take It Easy Ranch Road. The vehicle was hit by a Toyota Sequoia SUV, operated by Andrew Rogers, 33 of Callaway while Joseph was trying to make the turn.
The Chevy S10, had a passenger John Quade, 79 of Callaway. Both occupants of the Chevy S10 were airlifted to Washington DC area hospitals. Joseph was later pronounced dead at the hospital, says the sheriff office.
The driver of the SUV was transported to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital under non-life threatening injuries.
Investigation is still on.
