Antonio Perry Death – The Newton County Sheriff’s Office have confirmed the passing on of a man who drowned to death and a 14-year-old boy still missing in the Alcovy River in Newton County on Tuesday, August 11.
The deceased has been identified as 38-year-old Antonio Perry while the teen’s identity is yet to be released.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at Factory Shoals Park Tuesday when a teen and Perry went under water and never resurfaced.
The search for both of them was launched and Perry’s body was found on Wednesday, August 12. Due to weather conditions, the search for the teen was called off but resumes on Thursday morning.
Investigators revealed that Perry was the boyfriend to the teen’s mother.
