Eric Liebl Death | Eric Liebl Obituary – 51 year old Eric Liebl of Swansea is the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash earlier this week in Fall River. Liebl was driving a Harley Davidson around 9:30 p.m. on Monday, 10th of August 2020 near the intersection of South Main and Middle streets when the motorcycle was struck by a Honda Civic, according to the office of Bristol District Attorney Thomas Quinn III.
According to MassLive, when officers got to the scene, Liebl was in the middle of the road. The 28-year-old man driving the Honda Civic and his two passengers remained at the scene and were questioned by police, Quinn’s office wrote in a statement. Liebl suffered serious head trauma in the crash. He was transported to St. Anne’s Hospital in Fall River before being transferred to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, where he died Tuesday at 12:59 p.m., the statement said. An investigation of the crash is ongoing. There are currently no criminal charges.
