Daniel Ocasio Death | Daniel Ocasio Obituary – Connecticut inmate from Windsor Daniel Ocasio age 32 was found dead Wednesday with a ligature made from a cloth mask around his neck, Department of Correction officials said. Daniel Ocasio was found sitting in a bunk at Corrigan-Radgowski Correctional Center in Montville about 5:07 a.m.
The Emergency responders transported Ocasio to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead about 5:55 a.m. Ocasio was being held at the facility on $10,000 bond for a third-degree burglary charge, DOC officials said.
The mask used to form the ligature was one provided to inmates in an effort to limit the spread of COVID-19, according to DOC officials.
