Lindsay Birbeck Killer is Named for the First Time – The teenager who brutally murdered Lindsay Birbeck has been identified for the first time. Rocky Marciano Price age 17 , of Whinney Hill Road has been identified as the victim’s killer. This prevents the press from publishing anything which would be likely to lead members of the public to identifying the 17-year-old, including his name, address, school he attended and any still or moving image.
“The public naturally wish to know who this person was as they come to terms with something that rocked the local community.
“The defendant’s photograph was already placed in the public domain [as part of a CCTV appeal]. I consider it inconceivable anybody who would wish him ill-harm would not discovery his identity.
“The wider public are likely to want to know his identity and background with a view to making sense of how such a young person could do something so dreadful.
Our deepest condolence to the friends and family of Lindsay Birbeck. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
