Legend Taliferro Death / Obituary – It is with great sadness that we learnt a 4 year old boy identified as Legend Taliferro was pronounced dead on June 29, 2020, following a fatal shooting during his sleep.
Legend Taliferro died after he was brutally shot in his sleep on his bed in Kansas City, Missouri. The assailant was identified as 22 year old Ryson Ellis who was charged with second-degree murder and unlawful use of weapon.
Our prayers, thoughts condolences are with the loved ones of the deceased for the great loss. We are yet to observed the deceased obituary, all further details concerning this news will be updated upon confirmation.

A GoFundMe account with $65 raised of $1,500 goal has been set up for Legend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family of the deceased. Below is the statement on the GoFundMe page.
Harmony Over Hate (HOH) exists to fight for equality for all. Our members have open conversations to educate one another, share perspectives, and create the much needed societal change. So far we have held two peaceful protests where we worked WITH the local police departments. We also hosted a support rally for the family of LeGend Taliferro, a four year old boy that was murdered in his sleep. By working with the local police, we’ve gained their support and trust. They are eager to work with us as they see the need for change, even within their profession.
The funds from this campaign will be used to help us become an official 501c3 Non-Profit organization and host our first of many community outreach events.
The first community outreach event is a community BBQ where we have invited all police officers, first responders, as well as members of the community. Your financial support would enable us to bring a community together during times that we need it more than ever. We’ll be serving food, providing activities for children, and creating a place where community members can engage in positive conversations that build trust, ease tensions, and remind everyone that we are all HUMANS with a goal for a better tomorrow.
Your support will help us keep fighting for equality for ALL. With current events, we’ve been highly focused on fighting the war on racism but we’re here to fight for ALL oppressed groups. We’re just getting started, we were founded in May, and have an amazing member base that’s passionate about our mission.

Devising programs in which we bring the local authorities and community members together to create change. We’re firm believers that change CANNOT happen through resistance and violence. We want to build trust, deepen the human connection, and establish new regulations that allow police officers to do their jobs while keeping their communities protected against injustices.Thank you for your support.
