Kathy Brown Death | Kathy Brown Obituary – Longtime Gillette News-Record reporter Kathy Brown age 64 passed away peacefully on Wednesday night in Casper at the Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions of complications from cancer, a disease. Kathy had valiantly fought for the past 13 months. She had retired from the News-Record in March after working as a journalist for 41 years.
So sad to hear about the passing of longtime Gillette News-Record reporter Kathy Brown. For many years, she covered Gillette sports with class and humility. She had a front-row seat to some of the state’s best teams and players.
