Two Dead in Plane Crash – Two people were reported to have been killed in a plane crash on Sunday, August 16, 2020, Emergency crews found the crashed plane in the area of Sleepy Hollow Road. Officials say both people on board died, they have been identified as Scott Lowe and Amy Lowe of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.
A news release from the police department says numerous callers reported the crash at Grand Glaize Airport, which is off of Old U.S. 54 Highway, very close to the Lake of the Ozarks Convention and Visitor Bureau.
The crash is under investigation, and officers are still on the scene waiting for the National Transportation Safety Board personnel. The victim was not yet identified.
