Samuel Seewald Death – The authorities have released the identity of the German man who was shot dead by a police in Amsterdam on Thursday, August 13 as 23-year-old Samuel Seewald.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Seewald was before his death a fitness influencer with more than 170 thousand followers on instagram, says AT5.

The police report says that Seewald was seen walking around with a knife on Honselersdijkstraat in Amsterdam on Thursday. He threatened to hurt himself and the officers while he kept walking to the direction of the officers despite the warnings for him to stop. When the police tried to arrest Seewald, he inflicted stab injury on himself and that forced the police to shoot at him.
A video posted online showed a police officer with a dog trying to overpower him, and three gunshots can be heard.
Seewald was pronounced dead at the scene after several attempt to revive him.
According to AT5, Seewald’s father believed that his son was murdered by the Amsterdam police.
The investigation is still on.
