My thoughts and prayers are with the Pennucci family. “Big Nick” was the best man to be around. My dad and him built a friendship over 40 years ago, and now me and “Little Nick” will carry on the tradition and legacy. He was like a second father to me, always inviting me over to the house to go swimming, always ready for a cigar and a drink, and certainly always ready to make you laugh. Here’s to the funniest man with the most infectious laugh and biggest heart out there. We love you Meg, Justine, Kristen, and Nick. RIP to the sweetest soul, we’ll keep a seat open for you on Christmas Eve.The Pennucci family and hockey community has lost one of it’s greatest members. Nick Pennucci was touched so many lives within the hockey community. One of the greatest guys I have ever met. The Lake Ave hockey rink will never be the same without you! May you Rest In Peace! Buffone Arena should be dedicated to Nick and renamed Pennucci Arena. You will be missed by many!
