According to authorities, Jamie Swavely was operating a Hyundai Elantra on US-54 in Pratt, when the vehicle attempted to pass several vehicles and came into head contact with a big-rig Monday around 4:30 a.m.
Jamie Swavely was transported to an area hospital for unknown injuries. The 54-year-old driver of the eastbound semi was not injured in the collision.
