Abdulkadir Davud Death – According to Evrensel daily, a Syrian refugee has been confirmed dead and identity released after he was shot to death over the weekend in Istanbul by a drunk xenophobic man. The deceased is named Abdulkadir Davud, 21.
According to official report, Davud was visiting the beach in the Zeytinburnu district of İstanbul with five friends, all of whom are workers in the factory.

According to another Syrian refugee Ahmed Uzun, 20, while they were at a bus stop going back home from the beach, the drunk man showered insults at them from his window.
Report says the wife of the drunk man warned the Syrians to run saying that her husband was getting his gun.
The unnamed drunk man came out shouting: “F..k your country.”
Unfortunately, Davud was hit by a bullet from the drunk man’s gunshot. He died at the scene.
Davud who fled Syria’s years-long civil war, took up residence in İstanbul and is survived by his six sisters and his mother.
