Rachel Gillmore who was known to be an independent woman and what was reported missing on Tuesday by the Independence Police Department after her family said she was believed to have left her home for a doctor’s appointment on Thursday, Aug. 13, and had not been seen since.
Rachel Gillmore was found in her 2018 Silver Kia Rio on Wednesday near U.S. 40 Highway and Lake Tapawingo in Blue Springs. The police believed Rachel might have had a car crash.
