Four Killed in Crash a Near LaGrange – Four people were killed in an early-morning crash in Lenoir County on Tuesday,

The deceased driver has been identified as Tytiauna Brown, 23, of Greenville, State patrol said passengers Tionna Day, 20, of Farmville; Jasmine Watford, 21, of Greenville; and Rhythm Sharpe, 29, of Farmville were also killed in the crash.

North Carolina State Patrol Sgt. January said a sedan clipped an SUV headed the opposite direction, and the SUV skidded sideways and stopped on the northbound shoulder.

According to the state police, the car continued to skid and spin and was clipped by another car before it was hit by a northbound commercial construction truck.

“It was bad; it was bad… I hate it,” she said. “Prayers for the family. It’s just so sad that this continues to happen on this road. It has been an issue for years.” Julia Hill said

She says she did not hear the accident happen but saw the aftermath.

“There was a white truck that was pointed toward the ditch, and a red maybe SUV pointed towards the truck,” she explained. “Now, the truck was kind of across the white line, but into the ditch. It wasn’t really like mangled-up stuff, it was just a wreck — which we are used to because it happens a lot of time. We’ve seen a lot of wrecks up here, so.”
