Efren Ricardo Death – The police have confirmed the death and identity of a young adult who was found dead in a valley canal on Wednesday morning, August 19 as 20-year-old Efren Ricardo.
Ricardo was reported missing earlier this week, says Phoenix police.

According to police spokeswoman Sgt. Ann Justus, Ricardo was last seen walking to work near 19th Avenue and Hatcher Road, where he never showed up and was reported to be missing.
On Wednesday at 6.30 a.m, officers responded to the scene near 32nd and Dunlap avenues after receiving a call on a person found in the canal.
After Ricardo’s body was recovered by the Phoenix Fire Department, it was reported that there was no signs of trauma on his body, says Justus.
An autopsy will be done and an official cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner.
The investigation is still active.
