Desiree Kay Perrin-Abell was born April 18, 1967, in Cedar Rapids, to Wilma Lorraine (Andersen) Perrin and Robert Hollis Perrin. Desiree graduated from Orient-Macksburg High School with the class of 1985. She was part of three state-qualifying teams in basketball and softball and qualified for state track while attending Orient-Macksburg. She will be greatly missed
