Bronx Street Death – The police have confirmed the death of a 44-year-old man found dead in the Bronx street early Friday, August 21.
Police report states that the victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital around 4:30 a.m. by an individual after he was shot in the back of the head. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
At 4.21 a.m. on Friday, the police responded to a 911 call about a man shot on the Park Ave. near E. 178th St. in Crotona. They were led to the hospital by the shelled evidences found on the scene.
Earlier on Friday, on E. 179th St. near Clinton Ave. about a mile away, the police reports that a 60-year-old man was shot dead and two others injured in a drive-through attack, although its not seemed to be link to the later shooting, says the police.
So far no arrests have been made and investigation continues.
