Certain websites with dubious intentions claimed the Filipino actress Shaina Magdayao was rushed to the hospital due to hypothyroidism, but was declared dead on arrival. This is Fake!
The websites are confronted by Facebook Claim Check, a tool that helps to identify dubious content shared across the platform. At least, 51 different links spreading the fake death of Magdayao have been confronted and flagged.
Shaina was was seen in a photoshoot for a local fashion brand. Her makeup artist that day also posted a behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram, to which the actress commented using her verified account: “Thank you for today.”
