Frank Nachtigal Death | Frank Nachtigal Obituary – We are deeply devastated to report the death of Frank Nachtigal. Frank Nachtigal was a great example of what being a Thresher is all about. Throughout his three years as a Thresher student-athlete, Frank played basketball and tennis and was a multi-year letterwinner in both sports.
According to Bethel Threshers, Frank and his brother Chester were often paired together at the #1 doubles position in tennis, and found victory on the court at conference tournaments. He was a teacher and coach at multiple high schools in Kansas. He once owned and operated a Dairy Queen in Clay Center, and at one point was elected as the President of the Kansas Dairy Queen Owners Association. He also owned Newton Memorials for three years. We extend our condolences.
