Chris Kooy Death | Chris Kooy Obituary – Chris Kooy sadly passed away, Chris runs the Chris Kooy’s Edmonton Scottish 2005 Boys foundation, he was an amazing person and coach. He contributed greatly to his team and country. Chris was an inspiration to many he will be greatly missed by his team and country.
We’re told that Coach Chris was sitting on his bed, and decided that sitting wasn’t good enough. So he stood. He passed away peacefully less than 12 hours later. We are devastated by his passing, yet feel hugely privileged that we were his team. And we will always be Kooy’s team.
Coach Chris found the strength to sit by his window and raise both arms above his head in a show of defiance towards cancer and solidarity with us. His courage and bravery will live within us forever.
