Melissa N. Bentley Death | Melissa N. Bentley Obituary – 35 years old Melissa N. Bentley of Ruther Glen was killed in a crash which left four juveniles injured in Caroline County Saturday afternoon, 22nd of August 2020. Troopers were called to Route 207, less than a mile east of Moncure Drive, just before 12:30 p.m. “A 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling west on Route 207 when it ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree,” troopers said. The driver, Melissa N. Bentley died of her injuries before she could be medflighted to VCU Medical Center, according to troopers.
According to 6NewsRichmond, State police said Bentley was not wearing a seatbelt. Four juveniles in the vehicle were rushed to VCU Medical Center. One suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries while the other three suffered minor injuries. Officials said their investigation into the crash is ongoing.
