Jeff Langley Death | Jeff Langley Obituary – Foreign Minister lauds talented diplomat Jeff Langley sadly passed away Mr Langley served his country with great distinction. Jeff has been Deputy Secretary for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Australia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade since 2015. A career diplomat since 1993, he previously served as New Zealand’s High Commissioner to Vanuatu, and also had postings to the United Nations in New York and Brazil. He was known to be an amazing person he contributed passionately to his community and country. he will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Such deeply sad news. Jeff also had a great sense of humor and was so well-liked. He recruited the 1999 MFAT graduate intake alongside Mark Sinclair and we will remember him with great fondness. Deepest sympathies to Jeff’s family, including brother Chris and MFAT colleagues
