Charters Towers Death – The police have confirmed the death of a teenager who died in a fatal single-vehicle crash on Monday August 3, in Charters Towers.
According to investigation, the vehicle which had four occupants rolled on the Flinders Highway at Richmond Hill around 9. p.m.

Among the occupants of the vehicle, a 17-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle identified as a 21-year-old man was in a serious condition and was airlifted to Townsville Hospital.
Other occupants of the vehicle, aged 21 and 29-year-old men, were also taken to the hospital for treatment.
As emergency services responded to the scene, the highway was closed in both directions. The road was reopened at 4.30 a.m on Tuesday,
The investigation is being handled by the Forensic Crash Unit.
