The group said: “Adriel was one of our seniors that just graduated high school. His freshman year he left Garfield High School because of poor academics and attendance, before he turned things around and worked to graduate this year. Adriel was as cool and smooth as they come.”

He was always very relaxed, fun and was friendly with everyone he met. Our hearts are heavy with this loss.

Two other people were also shot and injured in Monday night’s incident.

The SPD has asked for help in identifying a suspect but so far no arrests have been made.

A vigil was held for Webb on Tuesday, July 21, by the student group and loved ones at the location of the deadly shooting in the ARCO/AMPM parking lot.

A memorial fund for Webb has been posted by MUST.
