Africa Nicole Powell was found at Gist Avenue by officers in the Northwest District, at about 11:12 a.m., November 13. Medics responded to the location and pronounced Powell dead.
On November 13, at approximately 11:12 a.m., officers in the Northwest District located a Powell at Gist Avenue and she was pronounced dead.
Powell’s body was transported to the Medical’s Examiner’s office where on November 14, 2019, the cause of death was ruled a homicide due to blunt force trauma.
