Alex Aloysius Death – The Ontario Provincial Police have released the identity of a man who drowned at the provincial park in Prince Edward County on Sunday, July 26, as 64-year-old Alex Aloysius, of Oshawa.

Investigation is still ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.

This incident occurred around 1:00 p.m at North Beach Provincial Park in Consecon, west of Sandbanks Provincial Park, says OPP.

According to reports, Aloysius was swimming with his family when he suddenly didn’t resurface. He was later pulled from the water and CPR performed by Hastings Quinte EMS before he was taken to the hospital.

Aloysius was later pronounced dead in the hospital.
