Alewine was driving an SUV on the FM 1372 near North Zulch, when it veered off the roadway and crashed into a tree, according to officials.
Amber was pronounced dead at the age of 44, according to officials
She was a volunteer firefighter also a secretary for the North Zulch Volunteer Fire Department before her deceased.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
