Andres Celedio Cruz Death – The authorities have confirmed the death of Barangay chairman, 46-year-old Andres Celedio Cruz, of Sherwood, Leyte.
Cruz was shot dead on Monday afternoon, July 20, 2020, on his way home.

Reports have it that Cruz was coming from a court hearing in Baybay Regional Trial Court when he was shot to the head and chest.
Cruz sustained fatal gunshot wounds and died of his injuries, says the Albuera police authorities.
Investigation is ongoing to determine reasons behind this, so far no arrests have been made.
