Angel Frith Death – The Pelahatchie police has released the identity of the child that died after drowning in a swimming pool at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park on Thursday afternoon, August 20 as 5-year-old girl Angel Frith.
According to Pelahatchie Police Chief Joseph Daughtry, the mother of Angel identified as Sky Frith, 24, of Lake Providence, Louisiana is charged with felony child neglect with a bond at $250,000, while her boyfriend, Antron King, 21, is also charged with felony child neglect with a $150,000 bond.

Preliminary investigation revealed that both adults left the girl at a swimming pool all alone and went to their vehicle. Angel was later found at the bottom of the pool, says the police.
The little one was pronounced dead after all attempt to resuscitate her failed.
According to the Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in Pelahatchie in a statement said:
“This afternoon a young camper very sadly drowned in our swimming pool. We are assisting the family and we ask that everyone keep them in their thoughts, as are we. To protect the family’s privacy, we are not releasing their name. Safety is always our priority and we are cooperating with the local authorities as they work to determine what happened. We want to thank the many first responders for their fast and professional response and actions. The entire Jellystone Park family extends our deepest sympathies to the family and to everyone affected by this tragic event.”
The police also stated that Frith and King had two other children aged 7 and 2 who are currently in the custody of Frith’s mother.
